Celebrating the New Year with the Disney World Crowds…and Why We’re OK With That

In ten days we will be at Walt Disney World, getting ready to ring in the New Year at the Happiest Place on Earth. We will, of course, have a lot of company, and I have written in the past about what the parks are like during this busiest week of the year. Wordless Wednesday: Holiday Transformations

Walt Disney World is in the business of, above all, creating magic. And at no time is that more evident than in the “changing of the seasons”. Last week, barely hours after the last Trick or Treaters had collected the last of their candy….Santa’s elves were already hard at work creating a Winter Wonderland that would be ready for the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on Nov. 8th. Now that’s some pretty good magic right there! Continue reading
